Chemotype genetics-true
Chemotype
Type I
THC-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Bruce Banner F3 #9
Bruce Banner #9 leans slightly more toward the Sativa side compared to #7, showcasing more of its Strawberry Diesel heritage and closely resembling the legendary Bruce Banner #3. Like its sibling #7, Bruce Banner #9 is very easy to grow, making it an excellent choice for beginner growers, while also offering stability and reliable cultivation for experienced growers.
After eight months of careful selection and testing, Annabelles Garden is proud to introduce this exceptional strain. Due to the difficulty of obtaining Bruce Banner genetics in Europe, the breeder decided to bring this strain to the market. The development process required dedication and precision, resulting in two outstanding phenotypes: variants #7 and #9, with #9 now available for growers seeking a high-quality, Sativa-leaning hybrid. Lineage: OG Kush (2004) x Strawberry Diesel Genetics: Sativa / Indica Flowering Time: 8 - 9 weeks Smell: fruity, citrus fruits, Strawberry Diesel THC: 27%
