Type I
THC-dominant
Terpene profile most dominant first
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Bubba 76
More than two decades separate these two indica legends, brought together here for the first time. Bubba 76 produces large, rock-hard buds from top to bottom, making even the smaller pieces substantial enough to trim. Tying down the branches will produce multiple terminal colas, greatly expanding your potential yield. Be sure to provide plenty of airfl ow due to the thickness of the canopy and their density. Watch for those giant colas for mold at the end of the cycle and you will be richly rewarded. This F1 generation expresses similar physical characteristics across phenotypes, with slight variations in flavor, ranging from the Afghan’s sweet berry to the earthy, peppered underside of the Bubba Kush. The smoke is relatively easy on your lungs and throat, making this herb one you will want to return to. The high starts out happy and lucid, before settling you into a comfortable, relaxing daze. Great for pain relief and insomnia. Genetics: '76 Afghan x Pre-'98 Bubba Kush
Indica/Sativa: 90:10
Yield: Medium-High
Harvest: 7-8 weeks / end of Sept
Stature: Short and stout
