Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). CAGED ALIEN packs dense, easy to grow, super resinous and potent flowers. Smells will be gassy at the nose followed by notes of citrus/berry and sour candy with a noticeable ‘musk’.
