When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). This is a fantastic cultivar that pairs the lethal genetics of Ape tranquilizer from Calyx Bros with the OG powerhouse Crunk cup. This is one of three moms that were distinctly different from the Ape tranquilizer. This one was GG4 in bulk and performance but with the best quality OG terps. It was a no brainer to use the Crunk Cup male on this and Calyx Chalice was born as a result.
