Type I
THC-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Candy Caramelo Fast Flowering
Candy Caramelo Fast Flowering: Fast results, vigorous growth, fierce flavours! Candy Caramelo Fast Flowering is a sophisticated 3-way crossing of Maple Leaf Indica x White Rhino x Blueblack. This strain is indica-dominant, relatively short in size, and generously yielding. It’s ideal for growers seeking fast flowering times and caramel flavours, without Ruderalis genetics. When growing Candy Caramelo Fast Flowering, it depends on the individual environment to what size the plant will grow. Indoors, they tend to stay relatively short, between 60-90cm. The sun can work real wonders, though. Outdoor heights of 170-240cm are nothing special in warm and sunny climates. This is a high-yielding variety, capable of producing up to 450-500g/m² indoors, and between 500-600g per plant outdoors. The first thing you taste when hitting this bud, is sweetness, accompanied by a blend of caramel, followed by something real fresh and minty. These minty influences perfectly match the mellow caramel aromas, adding another dimensionality to the sweetness. The high is remarkably strong, due to 16% of THC, but is not the type of couch-lock high one would expect from an indica-dominant strain. It’s more a
