Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Candy Factory

Blackberry cream x silverback x blackberry cream inbred. Big fat leaved light colored buds of candy flavored afghans chunks. Not quite as resistant, but still works outdoors in New Englands challenging conditions. Powerful effect. One third of phenos carry the dark trait with a more dank flavor. Little musclemen in veg phase. Mid to late September finish
