Chemotype
Type I
THC-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Candy Glue
Candy Glue is a very special high THC cannabis strain which is 60% sativa. It was bred from an S1 pheno-type of Gorilla Glue #4 x Zkittlez (from Green Fire Genetics) which was crossed with Lineage genetics own Girl Scout Cookies. Incredible trichome production for those into making concentrates and extracts. Candy Glue is a high-yielding plant that can grow indoors as well as outdoors. Indoor growers should be able to harvest between 500 – 600 gr/m2 in a little over 8 weeks of flowering.
