Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 70%Sativa 30%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Cane Fiyah
Expect short to medium sized plants with dense, nugs that are so frosty, they look dipped in sugar. Heavy on the indica side. This Mostly Indica hybrid is named for a Ganja Growing anthem that was a popular hit in the contemporary Hawaiian music scene of the 70’s and 80’s, and a tribute to the band members who gave their blessing for the use of their song name. Finishing time in the neighborhood of 9-10 weeks
