Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Cannabliss

A wonderful broad-leaf drug variety created by crossing two old school classics. Cannabliss has huge, dense colas producing some extremely large yields. It has a very high resin density with large glandular resin heads, perfect for extraction. Exudes lots of wonderful aromas, although based upon Shapeshifter’s selections most are fruity and sweet. Phenotypes have shown aromas of sweet citrus, grape, bubblegum, over-ripe tropical fruits etc. Some recessive phenotypes exude musky, pine, spice, gasoline from the original parent stock
