Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

Caramel Pinaz adapts very well to different growing techniques thanks to its secondary branches and vigorous development. Excellent results can be obtained when cultivated using SCROG thanks to the internode space, encouraging already an abundant production. At harvest, the buds are completely white covered by a thick resin layer that also floods with trichomes the nearby small leaves and even the larger leaves surrounding the buds. This Sativa dominant hybrid is ready for harvest after about 10 weeks of flowering when cultivated indoors. Cultivated outdoors, it is recommended in areas with a drier late season, with the harvest ready in late October. Caramel Pinaz consumption Caramel Pinaz offers a powerful and very fresh aroma, with sweet pineapple notes that blend delicately with powerful petrol, pine and caramel touches. It produces an effect that is particularly recommended for partying. Despite this, it is not an extra-stimulating variety and will
