Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Caribbean Vampire

Caribbean Vampire was bred in Portland, OR and is a combination of Tropicana Cookies and Garlic Breath. This is one of The Plant Stable personal favorites for its bag appeal and loud candy terps. No F1s will be re-released, but the F2s will be available at the end of 2022. This strain is a fan favorite in the Oregon recreational market as it's colorful buds draw the customers in and the candy terps keep them coming back. Most phenos have a more sedative, yet clear headed effect making this one great for movies, games, or entertainment. For the growers, Caribbean Vampire has an ideal structure for SOG or SCROG. While it is NOT lanky, it does have a tall, candelabra type structure that make good yields easy to come by. Not to mention, its resistance to pests and powdery mildew. The breeder cut has been grown outdoors in Oregon for years with very little problems. You can expect vibrant pink and purple pigments toward the end of its flower cycle
