When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). It is a hybrid between a hemp plant and Dulce Canna, a CBD-rich clone coming from Reggae Seeds. CBD Sweet Hemp contains 6% CBD and only 0,3% THC. This mostly Indica strain is highly resistant to diseases and mold, and yields 450-600g/m2 of compact and fleshy buds. The terpene profile is complex, rich in pinene and myrcene and with earthy and sweet notes. The effect is physically relaxing, suitable for different medical treatments.
