When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Chem Berry D
When considering what type of new strain would be a worthy addition to their excellent line of Diesel-flavoured varieties, Dark Horse Genetics had a breakthrough. One of the great strains from the Chemdawg line, Chemdawg 4, stood out for a variety of reasons. Chem #4 is unique in a sense, given that she is an indica-dominant strain, unlike her other sisters who are all on the sativa side of things. She’s known for giving a great head high at first, which resolves into a full-body high. What’s more, she boasts a spectacular flavour profile featuring appealing citrus notes.
Dark Horse Genetics crossed this fabulous Chem variant with the no-less exceptional Strawberry Diesel to make their Chem Berry D. The result is a sativa-dominant hybrid with some extraordinary potency, very good yields and an impressively flavourful twist, blending fruity flavours with Diesel in a really unique way.
