Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 50%Sativa 50%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Chem91 Bx2
SkunkVA found some seeds in a large bag of Chemdog buds he got from a friend. In these seeds he found a male. He used this male to pollinate the Chemdog 91 “SkunkVA cut”. This mystery male is the initial pollen donor used in the creation of this Chemdog 91 “Skunk VA cut” backcrossing (Bx) work. Newer releases will be using a male from the next step of the backcrossing work. This is the last chance to get crosses using the Bx2 male
