Chemotype genetics-true
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

The chemical bride is a combination of our old time Classic Chemdog genetic from Greenhouse Seeds, with our selection of one of the big boomer in america from Seedjunky, the Wedding cake. The result is an amazingly compact flower production covered in glittering trichomes all over the surface and down to the leaves.
The plant will not stretch a lot once switched into flower, it will grow in a bushy shape with strong secondary branches and short internodal length, a nice dark forest green often happens on the leaves like its father the Chemdog can have. The smell/taste of the Chemical Bride is a complex mix of both parents, with a strong creamy note coming to you first inherit
