Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Cherries for dinner

cherries for dinner is turpene times newest prized possession. Last year we found a gorgeous cherry westbx1f2 male that was so terpy it out terped some females weve seen. not to mention it had a great structure with excellent nodular spacing, and just dumped buckets of pollen. we knew he was meant for something great, so we decided to pollinate what we refer to as #18 which is a bubblegum breath leaning pheno of afterdinner breath f1 from our hunt to make the afterdinner f2s. we just couldn't let this cut go. it didnt have the garlic rank like the "turp cut" that was chosen for making the f2s. combining these two masterpieces has created something we are beyond proud of and are sure you will completely enjoy every minute of growing this terp beast. the terpenes are so strong when you inhale them it almost makes the air feel thicker. scents of sweet cherry bubblegum with a hidden undertone of gmo, but not the raw garlic terp you get in some gmo hybrids. this is a more baked in the oven wrapped in tinfoil and oil kind of garlic. sounds like it would clash, not in the slightest
