Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). It is a cross between Cherry Pie (Durban Poison x Gran Daddy Purple) and The OG 18, a selection of the legendary OG Kush extremely productive and with an acidic aroma. This variety produces plants of hybrid appearance, with a ramified structure of flexible branches with medium distance internodes. By using optimisation techniques such as tutoring we can increase its performance. It is ready for harvest in about 55-60 days of flowering, offering a harvest of extremely resinous and fleshy buds, with a yield of up to 500g per m2 indoors and up to 600g per plant outdoors.
