About this release
Released in 2022 following the Goblet of Fire lineup, the Cherry Kush Mints menu showcases a carefully refined genetic pairing designed for indoor growers and indica lovers alike. Cherry Kush Mints is the result of crossing Kush Mints (Rabid Hippie cut) with Sweet Cherry Pie, a heavily worked Cherry Pie BX2 selection. Genetics & Breeding Vision The goal of this project was to merge what we consider the quintessential Bubba Kush profile with the unmistakable sweetness of Cherry Pie. Classic Bubba Kush is known for its rich, sweet chocolate undertones—distinct from the chocolate-diesel notes found in strains like GG4—and some phenotypes even lean spicy. Kush Mints stays true to that original Bubba Kush expression, delivering deep chocolate, earthy kush terpenes, and elite bag appeal.
While Kush Mints excels in flavor, potency, and aesthetics, it can be slow to veg and lacks lateral branching. To improve structure and turnaround time, it was paired with Sweet Cherry Pie BX2, a vigorous and fast-finishing cultivar. The result is a heavy indica-dominant hybrid that maintains classic indica structure while offering improved growth traits and reduced flowering times. Growth Characteristics & Cultivation Both Kush Mints and Cherry Pie exhibit minimal stretch, making Cherry Kush Mints an ideal choice for indoor cultivation, especially in grow rooms with low ceilings. With both parents being indica-dominant, growers can expect compact plants, sturdy structure, and consistent performance across phenotypes.
Typically, the female parent dominates early-generation crosses, with male traits emerging more clearly after extensive backcrossing (often around BX4). This menu reflects a balanced expression that favors uniformity, stability, and ease of growth. Standout Selections Overall, the Cherry Kush Mints menu delivers versatile genetics suited for a wide range of grow environments, producing flavorful, high-quality phenotypes with shorter bloom times, strong indica effects, and ex
