When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Chico
Chico is the love child of 77' Maui Wowie X Watermelon Kush, first developed in British Columbia in 2015 by the late "Chico himself" and stabilized by his son Haze. After years of pheno hunting and generational breeding, it has been locked in. The tight dark green medium-sized Chico plant is a fast starter from seed. She starts short and stout but matures medium large with large arm-sized colas. The aroma is reminiscent of sweet melon fruit with a sassy citrus spritz. The high starts slow and plateaus with a nice energetic situation high. Being an incredibly balanced hybrid you can consume chico at almost all times of day, and night. She keeps you going during the day and knocks you clean out at night. Thc ranges from 22-28%
