Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Derived from Zamnesia's Do-Si-Dos and Exotic Seed's Herz OG (a strain that was made in partnership with German rapper Herzog), the resulting indica-dominant hybrid strain is bursting with 24% THC and a touch of CBD. When cultivating Chop OG, growers of all skill levels will have no trouble making her flourish.
