Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Cocoon
The mother plant used in this cross is the famous Headband from Loompa Farms, a super-strong, high-THC cross of Sour Diesel and OG Kush genetics, also known as Underdawg OG. It's an indica-dominant clone-only variety, offering aromas and flavours of fuel and lemon. Te effect is powerful, and only recommended for experienced smokers, delivering a sativa-like head high with much heavier, sedative physical effects. It can be harvested after around 8-10 weeks of flowering, depending on the conditions. Wookie #15, the father of this variety, is a specially selected male that passes on excellent characteristics and qualities to its offspring. It is an indica-dominant cross that combines Soma Seeds Lavender with Appalachia, another of Bodhi's seminal male selections.
