Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Confetti was born from the crossing of a Tropicanna Cookies F2 phenotype by Oni Seeds crossed with a clone of Mimosa Gelato 25 with great resistance and high production. the F1 between the two plants generates an exceptional hybrid vigor while maintaining a good stability, and the resulting flowers are many, dense and have a new aroma that is felt already from the exit of the pre-flowers!
