Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Cowboy Candy

The Plant Stables pheno-hunted cut of Space Cowboy has been grown in Oregon’s Recreational market for many years. She's had multiple batches test in the high 20s and provides its users with a heavy sedative like state. This was a no brained for The Plant Stable to pair with their Sour Tropical Zkittlez F2 stud. Not only did it add flavor but color and yield as well. Most phenos have shown to be shorter and more “bush like” with very limited stretch in early flower. The right pheno would be an ideal candidate for SOG
