Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Dantes Dino

Dantes Dino is a cross between Jurassic which is a nostalgic cultivar from the 1990's which we were gifted in seed form and given no other information other than it was a very popular cultivar back then. The Jurassic plant grows with a fat stock and tight inter-nodes, a very strong pungent aroma, and fat dense trichome riddled nugs made for the perfect breeding specimen. We crossed this with the Dante's inferno which we reversed and the result was a new and improved berry scented Jurassic plant
