Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Dementia

Limited Edition Dementia was done in a small scale specifically for the High Times 25th Anniversary Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. Blue Dream, which is an easy to grow heavy producer, is a common strain in California that as one point captured the market similar to OG Kush and Girl Scout Cookies. Crossing it with Amnesia, a dominant and very popular strain in Amsterdam would showcase the abilities of Loud Seeds. Structurally it grows more like Blue Dream. Strain Type: Hybrid Genetics: Blue Dream x Amnesia Height: Tall Flowering Time: Medium THC Content: High
