When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Description/Aroma: Very vibrant shades of green including a sweet fruity to spiced chocolate nose. Expressions to pop up range from chocolatey cereal to fermented rotting mangos.
