Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Diesel Drift
Diesel Drift is a new sativa-dominant (70%) cannabis strain which has both cerebral and physical traits. Highly suited to social events and creative endeavours it has upbeat qualities despite its potency. It develops into quite a large plant with good yields of huge, resinous buds. Diesel Drift is a cross of two strains, viz. Fruit Punch and New York Diesel. Indoors these plants will reach a height of between 90 - 150 cm. tall yielding 500 gr/m2 in about 10 weeks of flowering. Outdoors these plants are absolute beauties reaching a height of 200 cm. and yielding 500 gr/plant of super dense, sticky buds. Northern hemisphere harvests will be ready during early October whereas in the southern hemisphere the crop will be ready for the chop in June. Growers are warned that this is a highly odiferous strain and its penetrating aroma will need an efficient air filtration system when cultivated indoors! The aroma and flavour are very fruity but with a powerful underlying smell of diesel fuel. THC levels are high at 18% with 1.3% CBD. The effect is a soaring, typically sativa, high which will help to make any social occasion go with a swing THC CONTENT 18%
