When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Some stretch in flower. Expect beautiful buds flecked with purple and crystals to the tips of the leaves. Very easy and very rewarding to grow.
