Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Divorce Cake
We took a select cutting of Wedding crashers （Wedding Cake x Purple Punch） that tested high for potency and crossed it with a selection of Gelato that showed an above average terpene profile. Dense potent flowers with a strong fruity nose resulted. This cross brings a grapey vanilla cake terp profile to your field with a soft fuel undertone. The flowering time on this Gelato cross is a tad longer due to the shared wedding cake lineage. We called this variety Divorce Cake because its got cake lineage, and we thought it was funny.
