Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Docta Clean

It’s one of my favorite sativa’s. Malawi/NL5 Haze is a classic clone only strain from the PNW that Archive seeds had gifted me over a decade ago. A majority of the testers all leaned to the Malawi NL5/Haze side. Large plants filled with huge trichomes on light green flowers. Strong aromas of skunk, pepper, and frankincense fill the air around these plants. Indoor 9-11 Weeks Outdoor Late Oct
