Chemotype
Type I
THC-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Dog Cage
Glue Fire x Gorilla Dawg Flower Cycle: 65 days
Sativa 60/40
THC: 25% - 28%
Yield: Heavy This polyhybrid combines the genetics of two of the post potent plants and highest yielding in our collection. Meet the Dog Cage. Where OG’s and Chem’s and Sour’s all gather to battle it out. Our Glue Fire cut is one the most massive yielding plants while still retaining high resin production that we’ve ever seen. It is a brutal cross between Gorilla Glue #4 and Wifi OG done by Relentless Genetics. The Gorilla Dawg is our masterful entanglement of all the Chem Dog cuts. Combine the two and you can expect rapidly growing - extremely potent plants that branch out and quadruple in size during flower. These flowers will become glass coated in glue and stay dense and resinous all the way down to the bottom of the plants, far beneath the level of the canopy
