Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). These were pretty consistent but the outliers were exceptionally nice! They held up well outdoor and did great under greenhouse cover. Most phenos are green but the outliers that standout get a nice colorful fade with cool nights. They dump resin glands in the trim bin so I’d imagine a hash maker would enjoy!
