Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Donatello
This Sativa dominant hybrid is a 60:40 Sativa:Indica cultivar is a cross of Purple Urkle and Casey Jones. The bud is a deep green to purple with fiery orange hairs and chunky trichomes. She tastes exactly like she smells: straight sweet oranges. The high has a deeply relaxing onset causing calm to wash over both mind and body. As the high builds it becomes more introspective yet hazy and dreamy, relieving your mind of any racing thoughts or anxiety. The high is cerebral and spacey, yet not overly sedating. We have done a lot of breeding with this lady, so keep an eye peeled for her offspring!
