When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The plants are compact, which makes them suitable for discreet growing. The flowering time is average. They have an earthy, hashy aroma and taste, and the high is classic indica – a pleasant stone with a hint of buzz. Double Kush Cake Feminized is 65% indica and 35% sativa. The indica dominance is especially evident in the compact size of the plants, and the effect, which is deeply relaxing with a mild cerebral buzz. It was bred during the Sensi Seeds Research Project of 2021, and its parentage is impressive: Afghani# 1, Hindu Kush, and Skunk Kush.
