Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). When the plant is in flowering you will see that it quickly gains height and the stems get fragile therefore it is recommended to use a support network (Scrog), so that the stems do not break due to the weight of the buds! The harvested and dried buds are very compact and emit a scent that will make your day. Thanks to Larry this variety has left everybody totally amazed by its stability, taste and production!
