Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Dread Zion
Dread Zion is a cross of an indica leaning Blue City Diesel mother and a Jamaican pure Sativa father. Dread Zion was created at the same time as our Zion's Blood using the same Jamaican sativa male brought back from Jamaica by a friend when he visited for his wedding in 2010. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first cross of Jamaican and Diesel. Dread Zion has larger yields than her half sister Zion's Blood. She gives of that unmistakable diesel and berries smell in flower. This cross adds euphoria to the already fantastic BCD high. Responds very well to topping and training. Mother: Blue City Diesel
