Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Early Bubba Kush EII x the pre-98 Bubba Kush is a clone from California which produces very nice plants that are heavy with resin and tasty. We used our Early Island Indica male to pollinate the Bubba Kush, the EII is a tough Indica that is also very inbred however in F-1 crosses it imparts serious resin production and earlier finishing time indoors and out as well as helping with mold resistance for outdoor crops
