Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Elephant Bones

Elephant Bones is a heirloom hybrid cross that was bred for its highly medicinal chemovar-profile, having a very uplifting psychotropic mood-enhancing cerebral effect matched with a whole body pain relieving effect. Elephant Bones is perfect for alleviating multiple aliments as well as enjoying recreationally. Our Elephant Bones vault-cut has been preserved as a F1 heterogeneous mother plant for over a decade now, keeping a uniform morphology over the years, while producing much chemotypic variation each harvest. The chemotypic variation in our F1 vault-cut is evenly inherited from the diverse chemo-types of each of the P1, P2, P3 parentage. We've observed beautiful violet-hue anthocyanin production around the 1-2 week of the flowering-cycle. The violet anthocyanin trait has been observed as a (Pp) Heterozygous trait in a majority of off-springs bred via open pollination. • Lineage: (Northern Vietnamese, Meo Vac x Lowland Himalayan x Black Congolese) • Bio-type: Narrow-leaf • Flower-cycle: 60-65 days • Flavor Profile: Juniper, Watermelon, Eucalyptus, Gasoline
