Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Ethiopian Blueberry

Blueberry Milk Collection Genetics: Ethiopian Banana (Bodhi cut) × Blueberry Milk (Stray cut) (Blueberry Milk = Mother’s Milk 31 Bodhi cut × Detroit Blueberry “Neck” cut) Type: Sativa/Indica Flowering Time: 8–9 weeks Yield: Medium to heavy Grow Area: Indoor Notes: Ethiopian Blueberry was originally created several years ago and represents one of the earliest Blueberry Milk reversals. Recently rediscovered from a private Blueberry stash, this line brings together the distinctive character of Bodhi’s Ethiopian genetics with the rich density and flavor of Blueberry Milk. The result is a vigorous, high-performing plant that stacks aggressively, builds thicker branching, and delivers soaring, happy highs with clarity and lift. This is a true collector’s release and is unlikely to be reproduced unless the Ethiopian S1s can be successfully germinated again. Expect heavy resin production and substantial tops that benefit from staking or trellising. Cooler temperatures may reveal rare purple phenotypes—uncommon, but present in the line. Flavor is exceptional: sweet blueberry plum layered with caramel ribbon and glazed peach notes. Easy to grow and highly resinous, making it especially appea
