Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Ethiopian Highland Sativa
I finished the seed increase on these a couple of weeks ago. My goal was to have them harvested, threshed and dried by mid-April, just in time to plant outdoors. The Ethiopian Highland Sativa is available in limited quantities. Plants showed signs of being inbred and are gender-stable (dioecious). The effect is stimulating but not overpowering. A very nice landrace Sativa type. Flowering time: 11-12 weeks
