Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Fast Freddy
Crossing Northern Lights #5 with Early Pearl has produced an F-1 hybrid that is mostly Indica with a strong, hashy flavour and a heavy stone. Buds are extremely resinous like the N.L.#5 but can be harvested outdoors because of the Early Pearl influence. A very mould resistant and easy to grow variety that works well indoors and out (mid Sept. finish) and yields well in a variety of growing conditions. F-1 hybrid.
