Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Fayaka

Fayaka! Its a war cry, used by the MiniStereo Publico Soundsystem (Salvador de Bahia, BR). Dedicated to these teachers of the brasilian dancehall; her heated outcry prompted us to dedicate a spirited variety, sweet and euphoric. Fayaka is a crossing between the Nepali and NYCD06. The Nepali - one of the queens in our house - is a short-flowering plant, producing compact buds who are covered with large trichomes and narcotic effects. Incorporating sativa genes was a good goal. The intersection of these two varieties led to a medium euphoric variety with a narcotic touch, very fruity with a drier background when smoking, contributed by the Diesel.
