Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Fig Widow

The Fig Widow is a cross between a Fig Skunk, local strain very similar to Skunk #1, and a White Widow male. It smells fruity with a light fig undertone. The taste is sandalwoody, with a hint of fruit. Friends say its a one hitter, but it goes down so smooth I doubt that you'll only take one hit. The Fig Widow is a 50-60 day strain depending on your setup. I know because I am the breeder
