Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Flight 38
The mother of this new hybrid is the famous Pineapple Express, a powerful cross of Trainwreck x Hawaiian that offers a sweet and fruity tropical flavour accompanied by a stong but nicely-balanced effect. The cerebral high is euphoric and exciting, with a soothing yet energetic physical side. Its rapid blooming and big yields have made it a huge favourite among cultivators. The other side of this hybrid is a great male from The Captain's Connection: Gwiz, a variety that combines GMO, one of the most resinous clone-only varieties of the last few years, with Blissful Wizard, a creamy lemon and lime Cookies hybrid that also gives large yields of highly resinous flowers. Gwiz takes around 65 days to finish flowering and produces up to 32% THC, depending on the phenotype and growing conditions.
