Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Frost Berries

This is a cross of Blackberry and Dead Head OG, this cross was made to produce a berry OG flavor with a nice Indica Dom. body buzz. The Blackberry increased the yield and the Dead Head reduced the trimming load. She is a fast grower in veg and finishes flowering in about 60 days. This strain is only available as a free give away at California dispensaries that carry our genetics
