Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Frozen Throne
When we were first introduced to the breeders cut of Subzero #12, we knew we had to cross it with the Midnight Glizzy. Despite having very little lineage in common, these two strains are absurdly similar. The Glizzy has a complex chemically tangerine smell, while the subzero has a chemically grapefuit nose + a hint of soap. Both strains express beautiful purples, pinks and blues. Our initial test run of 6 seeds produced some amazing phenotypes, with the deeper colors of the glizzy and the increased yield of the Subzero. 56-63 days
