Chemotype
Type III
CBD-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Gala CBD
It is a cross between Hercules and a pure Sativa from Nepal. It offers very high CBD levels up to 19% and a low THC concentration between 0.4-0.7%. It is a perfect variety for those who do not want to experience the THC effects but still enjoy the cannabinoid benefits. Gala CBD cultivation
It is a plant with an 80% Sativa dominance genetics, with a pyramidal structure surrounded by secondary branches that grow around the central stem at a medium height with a 45º angle. All branches are filled with buds in the flowering stage. It has a flowering period of about 9-10 weeks, being advisable to provide a growth period of about 2-3 weeks. The harvest is ready in outdoor cultivation by mid-autumn. It offers a high production, with an indoor yield of up to 650g per m2 and outdoors a yield that can exceed well above 650g per plant according to the growing conditions. Gala CBD is notable for its organoleptic characteristics, with a citric base and sweet fruity notes reminiscent of berries and forest fruits. R-Kiem Seeds Gala CBD info:
