Gemelo Strain

Gemelo is part of the inaugural regular seed lineup from Fidel’s Seed Co, the brainchild of breeder and master grower Fidel Hydro, also the founder of the famed Fidel’s Hash Holes pre-rolls. Fidel earned his reputation in Santa Clarita, California, working at Commercial Hydro, where he learned the ins and outs of cultivation from assisting dozens of growers daily. This hands-on experience helped him understand common pitfalls and refine his craft. Gemelo is a carefully selected cross using GMO (Garlic Cookies) from Bobby Trill of Trilogy 710 as the mother. GMO is renowned for its hash potential, yielding up to 8% in whole-plant fresh-frozen runs. Fidel paired it with a male he meticulously selected: Pomelo × Gelatti × Kush Mints #11. While the Gelatti × Kush Mints pheno produced incredible hash, striking bag appeal, and high gas levels, its terpene profile was less impressive—prompting the addition of terpene-rich Pomelo to the mix. Fidel describes Pomelo as “smoking a musky, OG-style strain on a tropical beach, where sand, salt, and humidity mingle with the smoke,” creating a uniquely aromatic experience.
