Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Genie of the Lamp

This NYC Diesel x Big Bud hybrid maintains the high standards of quality you can expect from the NYC Diesel but the Genie’s flowering time is reduced by a few weeks, and does not tend to stretch as much during the first weeks of her flowering period. The Big Bud increases the yield and make her much more stable without losing the taste and high that makes the NYC Diesel a favourite amongst smokers. I am the champ, I am the Genie of the lamp. Flowering time: 9-10 weeks Outdoor harvest: late October
