Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.

Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Gobbilygoo

Gobbilygoo is a hybrid by Alphakronik Genes that was created based upon requests from Alphakronik Genes best test growers. They assumed, correctly, that the two lines would create something special. The result brings the best of the parents into one hybrid that features sweet, blueberry and grape flavors, tons of trichome coverage, in a large yielding plant. It has shown resistance to powdery mildew and flowers quickly, making it an idea candidate for outdoor grows here in the Pacific Northwest, where it was bred. Staking and tying the branches of this plant is highly recommended as it does gain considerable weight in it’s colas. The effect from this plant starts directly behind the eyes and moves throughout the body, releasing tension and encouraging relaxation. Gobbilygoo has been tested and has been shown to work well for the treatment of side effects from: Pain, Insomnia, Nausea, Loss of Appetite, Migraines, and Glaucoma. Grow Tips: This plant requires extra nitrogen mid-way through flower if you are using soil. We recommend a nitrogen rich soil to top dress with. For hydro growers, we have had success with base notes up to 1200ppm at full tilt. Flowering Time: 50-55 Days Indic
